•One, 60-90 minute virtual (unless otherwise discussed) prenatal preparation session around 28-30 weeks to discuss hopes and expectations for your birth in depth. We will go over the phases of labor, medical interventions, review evidence-based research, craft a birth plan, and prepare for the postpartum period. I will make sure you are fully supported and prepared for your labor and delivery.

•One, 60-90 minute virtual (unless otherwise discussed) preparation session around 36 weeks. This is where we will discuss comfort measures, positional work, and techniques to help you cope with labor.

•A carefully curated shopping list- This will include items that I have found to be absolute NECESSITIES for pregnancy, labor, nursing, and postpartum recovery. (think oils, tinctures, nipple cream, perineal spray, postpartum undies, the best bounce back leggings.) I will dish it all.

•In person birth support— I will begin being on call at 38 weeks. Once your labor has begun and you feel that you are ready for the extra level of support, I will join you at the hospital or at your home (if you are having a homebirth) and will be there to support you until your baby is in your arms. My services will be customized to your needs. I will advocate for you and your birth plan during labor and can provide both hands on and hands off support. Encouragement, massage, counter pressure, assisting position changes, etc. I would also be more than happy to take pictures & video using your phone. Once your baby is born, I will assist with things like skin to skin, initial breast or bottle-feeding support, or grabbing you a well-deserved snack! Once you feel ready, I will leave you to enjoy your newly expanded family.

•24/7 Call/Text/E-mail support for 6 weeks Postpartum. I will be readily available in the days and weeks following your birth to answer any questions and provide advice and resources to ensure you have the support you need as you settle in with your new little one. This will also allow us time to process your entire birth experience, write your birth story, and marvel at your newborn and all you have accomplished.

This package is identical to the Belly, Birth, and Beyond package (details above) MINUS the “in person” birth support. Since I will not be attending the birth with this package, I would LOVE for your husband or labor support person to join us on both of the virtual labor preparation sessions so we could discuss the BEST ways to advocate for your birth plan as well as assist with comfort measures, optimal positions, coping techniques, etc.

Though these services are virtual, the support, information, and encouragement you’ll receive from me during the prenatal AND postpartum period will be thorough and leave you feeling confident!
