“As your birth doula, I will help you gather knowledge. I will encourage you. I will remind you of your goals and values. I know that YOU are the expert on YOU. I trust that YOU will make the best decisions for you and your baby. I recognize you have the power of choice and I will honor your power whether or not they are choices I would make for myself. I know that each birth is different and you are capable and in charge of your experience. I will support you in your moments of vulnerability and in your moments of strength. I will listen with compassion and serve you with my hands and heart.”

“Often God will meet you in birth with a still small whisper if you’ll just take a moment to seek Him and listen.”
“A birth doula recognizes birth as one of the most important experiences a mother will ever have in her life. She understands the physiology of birth and the emotional needs of a woman in labor. She provides objective emotional and physical support and helps the woman get the information she needs to make informed decisions. She can facilitate communication between the laboring woman, her partner and her midwives and doctors. She will stay with the woman through the labor however long it may be.”
Throughout history women have ALWAYS helped women give birth. In todays society childbirth tends to become lonelier and more psychologically stressful for parents.
This is where a doula can come in! There has been ample research that proves that continuous support from an experienced labor companion can be dramatically beneficial for the entire family!
“We exist to disciple women as they choose life for the unborn and hope for themselves. It is our desire to come along side women and show them the love of Jesus Christ, so that they may be filled with hope, by grace, through the Holy Spirit, at the opportunity of a life and a future for both themselves and their baby.”
